At the meetings in November 2016 and subsequent meetings held with the main landowners, Næstved Kommune has received several proposals for alternative solutions for the Suså project’s part in the Lower Suså – from Bavelse Sø to Holløse Mølle.
Næstved Kommune held a number of meetings with landowners, the Suså Action Group, local councils, nature and outdoor organizations and other stakeholders in June of 2017. The purpose of these meetings was to prioritize which technical studies should be launched. In September / October 2017 the Technical Committee will decide which alternatives will be investigated and will prepare tender documents in relation to these studies. When the new technical studies have been completed – expected by the end of the year – the municipality will invite new dialogue meetings on the project for the Lower Suså.
